The Vålerenga first XI is
Captained by Chris Brekke (The only Norwegian native Captain in the
Norwegian Cricket League) and Vice-captained by Tafseer Ali. Today and the
club is comprised of cricketers from
all over the world including: Norway, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, England, Australia,
South Africa, India, Bangladesh, Wales & Denmark

After every match we select
the most outstanding Vålerenga player and award him 'man of the
match'. The player with the most man of the match awards becomes the
player of the season and is awarded at the Vålerenga CK Awards party held
towards the end of every Cricket League season
